At PQL, supporting our community and charitable efforts is at the heart of who we are. We're dedicated to making a positive impact through a range of initiatives. Whether through donations, volunteering, or fundraising, we aim to foster a culture of compassion and generosity.
CASA PACIFICA
For over 8 years PQL has supported Casa Pacifica during the holiday season. Casa Pacifica offers adolescent and family services to treat victims of abuse and neglect, substance abuse, homelessness, and other mental health issues. They have 3 campuses located in Camarillo, Santa Barbara, and Santa Maria and work with more than 2,000 of the most vulnerable children and their families annually.
During their holiday toy drive, each of the campus children wish for a total of five presents for their holiday gifts – 3 “needs” and 2 “wants”. Typically, the needs are items like clothing, bedding, special hygiene products, and toiletries. Their wants are generally fun items such as shoes, makeup, toys, or gift cards. PQL has donated over 400 gifts to Casa Pacifica year to date.
JAMES STOREHOUSE
James Storehouse is a local non-profit who supports children in foster care, youth aging-out of foster care, children who have been commercially sexually exploited, children “at risk” of removal, and all their families.
Every year PQL holds a donation drive for their “Back to School Bash” which is a free shopping event for over 674 foster youth and teens in our county. Our goal is to donate at least 20-25 backpacks with supplies.
SUPPORTING CANCER AWARENESS
In October, PQL proudly joins the fight against cancer by fundraising for the American Cancer Society and supporting Breast Cancer Awareness initiatives. Through special events to donation drives, we come together to make a difference and honor those battling cancer.
